Fellow Albertans,
Our province stands at a pivotal moment, faced with challenges that require strong, calculated actions to secure a prosperous future. Alberta has long been a land of resilience, independence, and resourcefulness. Now, more than ever, we need to focus on putting Alberta first—taking deliberate steps to ensure our province’s autonomy and economic well-being.
Many of us have sought a clear path forward, one that prioritises Alberta’s interests and delivers meaningful results. The Alberta Prosperity Project, alongside Dr. Dennis Modry’s “The Rationale for Restructuring Alberta’s Relationship with Canada”, has laid out a thoughtful plan for Alberta’s future. This vision isn’t just about political ideals; it’s about uniting Albertans behind a pragmatic approach that balances autonomy with economic stability. By moving forward with sovereignty-focused initiatives, we can build a stronger Alberta within the Canadian framework while ensuring we have the tools and freedoms to chart our own course. Much like Quebec; and Alberta holds the conch.
It is crucial that we move forward with unity and purpose, understanding that our strength lies in calculated, strategic actions. For Alberta to thrive in this pursuit of greater autonomy and prosperity, the provincial government must take concrete steps in the following key areas:
Aggressive Tax Cuts
To alleviate the financial burden on hardworking Albertans, it is essential to pursue significant tax reductions. While quick fixes might seem appealing, a broader fiscal strategy—one that prioritises balanced budgets, debt reduction, and wise investments in the Heritage Fund—ensures long-term prosperity. A careful, measured approach will bring much-needed relief while securing Alberta’s future financial independence.
Reducing the Size of Government
Efficiency is key to a prosperous future. Our provincial government must operate with greater reverence for taxpayers’ dollars, ensuring that every cent is spent wisely. Streamlining government operations, cutting unnecessary bureaucracy, and focusing on competence will save taxpayer dollars and redirect resources to essential services that directly benefit Albertans. This strategic reduction in government size will result in a leaner, more effective governance model that works for the people.
Establishing the Alberta Provincial Police Force
Alberta’s law enforcement needs to reflect the unique challenges and values of our province. By advancing the establishment of a provincial police force, Alberta can gain more control over its public safety measures, especially in rural areas where specialised services are needed. The recently passed “Public Safety Statutes Amendment Act” is a step in this direction, creating a framework for local law enforcement that can respond more efficiently to the needs of Albertans. This model emphasises mental health, addiction support, and crisis intervention, offering a tailored approach to policing that prioritises community well-being.
Launching the Alberta Pension Plan
Financial independence is crucial for Alberta’s future. The creation of an Alberta Pension Plan would allow Albertans to manage their own financial resources, better reflecting the needs of our province. A referendum on the Alberta Pension Plan is on the horizon, ensuring that the people of Alberta will have the final say in how we secure our financial future. This is an opportunity to take control of our destiny and protect the long-term prosperity of our citizens.
Advocating for a Sustainable Immigration Approach
As Alberta continues to grow, it is vital to manage our population influx in a way that strengthens our infrastructure and ensures that newcomers have access to the support they need. By adopting a more strategic approach to immigration—one that aligns with Alberta’s economic needs and capacity—we can maintain a balanced system that benefits all Albertans. A calculated approach, possibly similar to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, would ensure that immigration continues to contribute positively to our provincial growth without overburdening existing services.

As we advance these initiatives, it’s important to remember that Alberta’s journey toward greater sovereignty and prosperity is not about politics alone—it’s about protecting our values of independence, hard work, and resilience. By supporting efforts like tax reform, reducing government size, creating a provincial police force, and managing our financial future through the Alberta Pension Plan, we are building a stronger, more autonomous Alberta.
At the heart of this vision lies the Alberta Bill of Rights, Freedoms & Responsibilities, which ensures that our provincial government remains accountable to us, the people. This is not just about laws; it’s about safeguarding our freedoms and ensuring that Alberta remains a province where the government serves its citizens, not the other way around.
Now is the time for unity. Let’s set aside our differences and focus on building a stronger, more prosperous, and more independent Alberta for future generations. Together, we can move forward, embracing sovereignty and prosperity for all Albertans.
May Alberta forever be strong and free.
