Alberta Prosperity Project
The Alberta Prosperity Project is a comprehensive educational initiative focused on garnering support for a future where Alberta determines its destiny, ensuring prosperity and freedom for future generations.
The Alberta Prosperity Project strives to bolster Alberta’s prosperity, self-determination, and sovereignty. We believe sound policy is the bedrock of prosperity, and we advocate for the need to explore avenues for greater sovereignty within or outside the Canadian federation.
What does Alberta Sovereignty mean?
Alberta sovereignty is NOT a “Right” or “Left” issue. All Albertans will benefit, regardless of one’s political leanings.
Alberta sovereignty pragmatically means freedom from persecution; politically,
economically, and culturally from federal control, as well as from the UK, Europe, China, the WEF and the WHO.
Purpose
To educate, inspire and unite all Albertans, businesses, and organizations on the rationale, merits and benefits of Alberta sovereignty, as well as alleviate any concerns.
Our Founding Principles
- Alberta will hold a referendum on Alberta sovereignty.
- Alberta will be strong, free and sovereign (Fortis et Libre).
- Alberta will gather unto itself all power to uphold its sovereignty.
- Alberta will create the constitution of Alberta for and with Albertans.
Our Vision
For prosperity and the protection of individual freedoms and rights for all Albertans, codified by a new ‘Constitution of Alberta’ that recognizes the Supremacy of God as foundational to Civil Society and the Rule of Law, wherein:
- Alberta becomes the most free and prosperous nation in the world to live, work, raise a family, or start a business.
- Alberta becomes the least governed, least regulated and lowest taxed nation in the world with the highest Average Real GDP per capita.
- Pensions, Old Age Security and Veterans Benefits are secured and markedly enhanced.
- First Nations participate as ‘Equal Founding Partners’ with constitutional protection of Treaty Rights and revenue sharing from the development and transport of our natural resources.
- No Albertan is left behind.
- Workers’ rights are protected, and all businesses are allowed to thrive, including Alberta’s resource sector.
- Social programs are compassionate and effective.
- Healthcare and education are of the highest quality and delivered timely and efficiently.
- Every Albertan enjoys an enhanced quality of life and standard of living; and
- All property rights are definitively protected.
Our Mission
- To use all available media platforms, resources, and educational material to inspire and unify all Albertans on the importance, necessity and benefits of Alberta sovereignty
- To review the legal process required based on the Clarity Act, the Citizens’ Initiative Act, and the Supreme Court’s analysis of the Quebec Secession Reference (Sections 154 and 155).
- To define the transition process from Provincial status to Sovereign Nation status, such as but not limited to:
- an interim governing Constitution including a Bill of Rights, Freedoms & Responsibilities (already drafted), which will be followed by a full constitutional conference to be voted on by the public;
- citizenship;
- national debt, pension plan, old age security, veteran benefits, indigenous treaty rights,
- healthcare and education;
- immigration;
- business relocation to Alberta;
- investment in Alberta;
- banking, currency, citizenship;
- energy and natural resource development and transport;
- agriculture, manufacturing, information technology;
- environment;
- justice system;
- policing, military, border protection, air traffic control;
- freedom of mobility.
Our Strategic Plan
Our strategic plan includes advocating for policies aligned with our objectives, such as establishing an Alberta Pension Plan and an Alberta Police Force, and asserting the province’s right to manage areas like natural resource development, taxation, immigration, and employment insurance. These initiatives, which are contingent upon negotiations with Ottawa and public support, will increase Alberta’s sovereignty, whether within or outside the Canadian framework.
