What is a content creator?

Content creators produce entertaining, educational or captivating content for digital distribution. These individuals typically offer a distinct perspective or voice. Fans latch on to their unique points of view, creating deep connections over time.

Creators develop content for various channels. Popular formats include:

  • Videos (like TikToks, YouTube videos or livestreams)
  • Images (like graphics, memes or photography)
  • Audio content (like podcasts)
  • Written works (like blogs and ad copy)

Alberta Prosperity Project is looking for Content Creators!

Are you a journalist providing news, commentary, and activism focused on Alberta’s battle for freedom, prosperity, and independence?

Do you host a podcast and want to partner with APP or even host a show on the APP channel?

If so, we want to talk to you!

The APP is looking to partner with local content creators who are as passionate about Alberta as we are!

Ideal candidates should have experience with digital and visual communication, be in support of the Alberta Prosperity Project, and have a passion for content creation.

Locations:

Alberta

Responsibilities:

  • Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms.
  • Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualizing your findings.
  • Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials.
  • Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.

Qualifications:

  • Experience creating strong, engaging content.
  • A portfolio of applicable outputs.
  • High knowledge of Albertan political issues and political players 
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Must be detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Experience in digital and visual communications are assets

How to apply:

Candidates should be willing to submit a short video (between 90 seconds and 3 minutes) demonstrating your content creation ability.

Hours required: 3 – 10 hr per week
