The Alberta Prosperity Project is seeking an experienced content creator and/or writer to join our growing team at The Alberta Prosperity Project.

Ideal candidates should have experience with writing and research, an eye for detail, and a strong grasp of Albertan politics and affairs.

Location:

This position could be fulfilled by someone who works remotely but resides in Alberta. 

Responsibilities:

  • Proofread and edit spelling, grammar, and syntax of page copy.

  • Write page copy when none is provided for videos.

  • Writing and posting of written articles after they have been requested or approved.

  • Provide appropriate tags, Hashtags, and references that will be used to improve SEO functionality.

  • Check content for accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent English language writing skills. 

  • Editing skills with a demonstrable portfolio of written work.

  • High knowledge of Albertan political issues and political players.

  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

  • Must be detail-oriented and well-organized.

  • Professionalism, integrity and discretion.

  • Occasional evening and weekend work required.

  • Effectively able to work with a remote team.

Job type:

Full-time or part-time (part-time work on evenings and weekends available too.) 

Salary:

Compensation commensurate with experience.
